Luke Fabian
Bio
Luke has been a passionate guitar and piano teacher to students all around Sydney for 7 years and continuing. He has experience with teaching students of all ages, from 2 year olds, to teenagers and up to grandparents. Luke completed his grade 8 AMEB piano exam with honours, alongside grade 6 musicianship and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology at the University of Sydney. With this background in science and psychology, Luke has extensive insight on implementing effective and productive learning methods for all students. Outside of this, Luke also works as a multi-instrumentalist, playing in musical groups, bands and venues around NSW.

Why Learn With Luke
Luke endeavours to create a fun and inspiring lesson experience for all students, where they can feel comfortable expressing themselves, build confidence and also learn traditional music theory and playing technique.
From previous experience working with bigger music schools, Luke observed a few issues including miscommunications between parents and management, temporary teachers who would come and go, and a seemingly “quantity over quality” approach.
Luke decided there should be a better way to approach music lessons and wanted to start his own music tuition services to provide parents and students with a more streamlined and personal approach. Parents can contact Luke directly and students Learn with Luke directly. Less fuss, more music!
Lessons are available at my home studio - Medium sized room with Kawai MP7 for the keyboard, and various acoustic and electric guitars for use. Guest chairs available for visitors or guardians sitting in on lessons.
Child Safe Policy
All children should enjoy music classes in a safe and happy environment. I support and respect all children and their families of all cultures. The main aim is to build and maintain a Child Safe environment which is inclusive, transparent and promotes participation of all children.
Learn with Luke supports all children in the music programs offered. Students are taught correct and traditional piano or guitar technique that will serve a variety of classical and contemporary musical styles. Students are taught a range of skills to become confident in their instrument. I listen to their views and involve them in decisions regarding their training.
Any persons with complaints, queries or issues should be confident they will be followed up as quick as possible in an honest and fair manner. Everyone should be confident in reporting inappropriate behaviour around children and everyone should report any concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or young person immediately.
This Policy will be reviewed regularly to add or incorporate comments and suggestions from other teachers, children and families.
